You have lives to impact and people to entertain.
But instead of doing that, you’re worrying about bad Amazon reviews that highlight poor punctuation, spelling, and grammar in your latest work.
Because that one bad review from a reader who sees—and calls out—all your errors? You know it means a whole bunch of potential readers who’ll swipe left on your book. Ouch.
Even worse, your precious time spent worrying about mistakes and bad reviews means less time focused on your author business.
Can we get really real for a minute?
When you decided to go after your dream of writing for a living, you knew it would be hard. But you didn’t expect that
- you’d stay up all night reading and re-reading your book, trying to spot errors you missed. Then drag yourself through the next day, barely making it on caffeine and hope.
- you’d be drowning in a sea of boxes to check so you can get this book out into the world before your deadline. And any moment now, you know you’re going under.
- you’d be wondering how on earth you’re supposed to thrive as an author when you’re juggling so much. As it is, you barely have time to shower and brush your teeth.
No, you didn’t expect that you’d be worrying over missed quotation marks and subject-verb agreement. Just so you can keep the grammar trolls from sending a piece of your heart down in flames. Precious time wasted when you could be creating instead.
Deep breath, my dear author. I’m here to help you with that.
Because there’s a better way.
Imagine, instead, an author life where you
- get a good night’s sleep, free from worry about missed errors in your book.
- focus on the creative work that only you can do, turning the sentences in your head into drool-worthy stories for your audience.
- stay on top of your business, running it like the badass author-entrepreneur that you are.
Because what you really want is to give your readers your very best quality work. To give them the polished product that they—and you—deserve. All while you grow and thrive in your craft.
When you can do that, you take yourself one step closer to the independent author lifestyle you dream of having.
Who Am I, Anyway?
I’m Kris—roamer, writer, and freedom chaser. I believe in veering away from what the world tells you that you should want and going after your dream life instead. The one you know will bring you joy every day.
For you, that means writing, just like you were born to do. I believe in you and want to help you live your best creative life.
That’s because a few years ago, I was winning in the corporate rat race. I was climbing ladders and taking names. I had everything that was supposed to make me happy: position, money, and stuff.
But all the while, I knew deep down that I wasn’t living the life that was meant to be mine.
Thankfully, through a series of semi-dramatic events (redundancy, a broken engagement, and the ensuing fallout), I left that life behind. Now, I freely and passionately pursue the vision God has given me for my life.
Part of that vision means that my one goal here is to help you produce your cleanest work of literary art.
So if you’re ready to:
- Say goodbye to worry and loss of sleep over missed errors
- Stop living on the edge of falling apart from the stress of doing it all yourself
- Get the proofreading help you need and deserve
Then fill out the contact form and let’s talk.
And in case you want to know me a little more personally…
- I’m a lifelong reader, and one of my hobbies is thoroughly losing myself in a good book. Because what’s better than a book hangover? Am I right?
- Romance is my genre of choice and my not-even-a-little-bit-guilty pleasure when it’s time to relax. I’m also a die-hard Agatha Christie fan with a love of cozy mysteries and old-time radio detective shows.
- The Lord of the Rings happens to be my favorite book (and movie) of all time. “You. Shall not. PASS!” Ah, Gandalf at his best.
- I’m what I affectionately call a roaming homebody. I like to explore new places off the beaten path, but I like to settle in for a little while when I get there.
- I have a serious love of emojis and unapologetically use them way too much. I’m warning you now because they’re bound to show up at some point in my emails to you.
More importantly, though, I’m finally, unapologetically living my dreams and my purpose. And I’d love to support you as you do the same.
Because it would be the best thing ever if you could hit that publish button with no worries about simple and avoidable income-killing errors.
